South East Idaho Geocachers Operative (SEIGO) was primarily organized to increase communications, issues concerning geocaching and heighten geocachers' awareness to protect trails and park systems within and around the southern counties of Idaho.
 
SEIGO is committed to:
* Promoting geocaching as an exciting, individual and family-oriented activity that increases awareness of parks, trail systems and community outdoor awareness. * Increase awareness of geocaching issues in the area through interaction with the public, other outdoor activity groups, the National forests Service, State parks and the Bureau of Land Management.
* Providing opportunities for the area geocaching community to enjoy geocaching, gather and socialize with like-minded geocachers. * Educate other outdoor enthusiasts on geocaching and the possible uses of Global Positioning Systems.
* Educate geocachers on low impact geocaching and promote awareness of our natural resources. * Encouraging sturdy quality caches, trading fair and ensuring play of this sport in a safe manor that makes it enjoyable for all.
* Actively promote the "Cache in Trash Out" programs to help keep area parks and trail systems free of litter.    
 
SEIGO was organized for geocaching enthusiasts in the state of Idaho. Anyone who supports the intent of this organization is encourages to become a part of our organization. Everyone is encouraged to subscribe to our newsletter. It's free, fun, informative and has many interesting links to area geocaching, geocaching events and community interest areas.
